A semi-public notice, with returned – or returning – optimism.

I recently sent out an email reminding some people that I’ve moved. If you read it a certain way, it sounds very dour. This was not at all how I’d meant it!

The opportunity to move to Casa del Gato con Tres Piernas, an unusual but convenient situation, first appeared a few months ago, and so far, it seems to be working fine, if bizarre and not exactly “homey” at the moment.

The spiders are subsiding, the three-legged cat and I are carefully skirting each other, and I’m anxiously awaiting payday so I can get some milk and detergent and scouring powder and just altogether settle in a bit.

Nothing bad is happening, I promise, and if you thought that I’m really sorry because I absolutely didn’t intend you to.
