Stress.

In the words of Inigo Montoya, “You keep saying that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”

Everybody’s always going on about how stressed they are – myself included. And I think everybody should just shut up about it – myself included.

I mean, please. What was I “stressing out” over earlier this week? My laundry. Yeah. Sweaty t-shirts and crumpled-up socks. Girl, please.

Yeah, I’ve got a lot going on. November’s going to be one wacky month. But that means I should worry less about things, and spend more time actually getting all this stuff done so I can enjoy all this stuff and enjoy all the places I’m going to be and enjoy the people I love.

Thanksgiving’s coming, and I’d best get to moving on being pretty damn grateful for stuff instead of whinging on about silliness.

In the words of Matthew Sweet, “I’m sick of myself.”

Consider this your little window into my own personal little talking-to. And any application to your own life is free.
