A friend of mine died Sunday evening. He died very suddenly, at dinner with his family, without warning but also without pain.
He leaves behind a son, a girlfriend, a family and many friends.
We weren’t very close; most of our interaction, actually, was with a group of mutual friends who all met online because we worked in the same industry. He was very good at his job, but more importantly, he was very kind, very sweet, and very friendly. He was not someone you would expect to lose. He was someone whose absence makes your life the poorer.
I miss you, David, and so does everyone who was ever lucky enough to meet you.
