Housesitting

It was about two years ago that I started my year-long housesitting stint. Random as most things in my life are, it had goods and bads but was altogether a Good Experience. And with that said, I’m glad I’m back somewhere where the locks are sound, the mice are not in the cabinets and the wilderness is not quite so there. I do miss the free BBC America and the awesome neighbors, though.

But anyway, I mentioned at the time that the homeowners were some unbelievably intelligent academics. In case you’re curious – and in case you can understand any of this, which I largely can’t – here’s proof:
