If and when I ever have kids, I wonder if I’m going to actually live up to all the things I think I will. Probably only very few. But between yesterday’s survey results of the crap people feed their children, and today’s survey of the crap people allow their children to do with their time… I hope I’ll at least be above the curve. These poor kids, with soda and French fries and three times as much TV – two hours a day – as books. I’ll be damned if I’m going to do that to a kid. No wonder we grow stupid Americans here… we don’t give kids half a chance to be otherwise.
