Like the Corners of My Mind?

This is a neat essay.

I remember sitting on my father’s shoulders in the hospital, looking in on my new baby brother.
I remember him teaching me how to tie my sneakers while I was sitting on a large roll of carpeting that he must have been about to install in our house.
I remember helping him build a carport.
I remember singing Christmas carols with him while he taught me how to wrap presents.
I remember him running to me after I got hit with an errant baseball playing catch in our side yard.
I remember him sculpting a little clay bust that stayed in the cabinet of the dining room sideboard for years.

What random memory do you have of one of your parents?
